This solution covers for a not working keypad backlight LED's. This problem may happens if the LED's were already damaged and or the connection line paths is open or cut-off and caused by a faulty LED driver IC. Refer to the solution below to trace and check these particular components.
You may first check the two LED's or replace it, then rework or replace the keypad LED driver IC.
The navigation keypad backlight LED's is been connected to the keypad flex, you may just check also the keypad flex if only those LED's doesn't work.
