Here's how to Factory hard reset the Huawei Ascend to its original factory default settings.
Just do a back up copy of your important data before proceeding, this process will delete all installed data on it.
1. ON the main home screen, tap menu
2. Tap Settings, then Privacy
3. Tap Factory data reset
4. Tap Reset phone
5. Enter your password if prompted, then tap Erase everything
How to reset the Huawei Ascend using the buttons:
First remove battery for a few minutes and then put it back in.
Then at the same time hold the following:
volume up, call button and power button (hold until it vibrates)
When it asks for permissions select:
select wipe data/ factory to reset
Once the reset process is complete the Huawei Ascend will then reboot and it will restore back to its original factory defualt settings.
