This solution covers for Nokia 6710 navigator upper keypad keys problem.

If encountered upper keypad keys problem, you may first check the upper keypad board and flex ribbon assembly for possible damaged, just replace if found already damaged.

If after ensuring that the flex and upper keypad board is okay and already tried replacing it with a new replacement spare but doesn't  fix the problem: Try to replace the keypad ESD-EMI filter chip.
